Work

I've really been contemplating a job change. I love my job, however words can't explain how much it aggrivates me as well. It just seems people I work with don't have the same goals for the store that I do. It's sad really, even the RGM would rather play games & chit chat then get anything done. I guess too I really don't have anything in common with my co workers, so I don't have anything to say or input on their conversations, thus I get all my work done & then some. I've been there almost 10 years, the store owner is great, he's really good to me, pays me well, pretty much have it made there, I just don't 'fit in' anymore. I thought about going to a management position in a grocery store? Anyone here ever worked in one? My cousin & Brother in law both work for a local chain & they love it. Just lookin for input? Confused

Maybe a change will do you good then. Why do you feel like you dont fit in, you're there soooo long?

I have nothing in common with anyone, I don't have kids, I'm not a kid, I don't have problems paying my bills, I don't watch much TV, I don't hang out with anyone outside of work so I can't chat about what we did yesterday, or last week or whatever. As bad as it sounds, the only person I can relate to is the owner, scary......... I'm still on the fence yet, it's hard to make a change. Confused
