Anyone seen this? 80's film, one of the first spacefi films I've ever seen. Old now and I hate the moment when the dog is killed but it's always a good one to unearth every 10 years or so.

Basically there's this planet called Saturn 3. Only two residents live there, who are scientists doing research on the planet's composition and so forth. It's not hospitable and they live in a protective manmade compound/complex.

A new robot is being sent to the planet to assist them with their research. However, an evil man assasinates the original "delivery personel/man" and sabotages the mission. Instead, the robot is programmed with an evil mission to kill the husband of the female researcher so that the new "delivery man" can have the wife. Or something. I never quite followed the reason it all went chaotic, but I'm sure it'll make sense if I watch it again.

The robot and the delivery man can join via a usb socket in the back of his brain. Unnatural of course. He manages to put one of these in the back of the husband's head too. Slightly "Matrix" script.

It's an old film and I can't quite remember the plot but it's all about these two reasearchers trying to escape this robot and its mad owner from killing them.

It's really good.
