I once saw an employee at Burger King drop his tongs on the floor, pick them up and continue using them! Not surprised by this, afterall I was at Burger King!

I have seen this too. I have also seen ketchup bottles and the rare but occasional frozen meat patty. It is amazing what the three second rule applies too.
