Any thoughts on the strike? Support, don't Support it. Noticed any reprecussions in any of your regular programs as of yet, assuming you have regular programs. Personally I have not, and couldn't really care less one way or the other, although I do support the reasoning behind the strike. I suppose I should rephrase that a bit or perhaps even a caveat.

I agree that since there is an apparent agreement among the majority of the folks in that industry that compensation of a residual nature is merited, then they certainly deserve in my opinion a larger portion of that royalty than they are currently recieving.

The concept of residual payments on the other hand I fully disagree with. Were I an automotive mechanic that rebuilds the engine in your vehicle - by their reasoning then, I should not only be compensated for the initial rebuild work, but I am entitled additionally to recurring reimbursement each time you start that vehicle? Sounds somewhat insane no?

I do support their cause somewhat, but I also have EXPENSIVE tkts to a Broadway show in 3 weeks , lol.

I'm downright tired of it. I wish the producers would just start trying to find a solution. I'm friggin' tired of paying for over 100 channels of re-runs! How many times can you watch Friend's, Seinfeld, Home Improvement or some of the stupid reality shows they have now? Need I bring up Clash of the Choirs??? If they want interesting TV during the strike how about Swimming with Gator's? First to Flinch loses a finger?

They need to do something!

I'm with CM-- I pay ALOT for all reruns. I understand they need to eat too, but it's been a long time, I wish I could boycott TV however it's too friggen cold here right now for much of anything else.
